This Friday, be sure to stop by The Midwives Gallery in South Philly for the one night only photo show, Acting 201. Following a few years after the success of Acting 101, the folks at the Midwives Collective decided to bring back the open-submission show in which participants are given a random prompt and asked to assume the roles of actor, director and photographer to create a reality for that prompt. This year, over 50 artists are participating including myself, Diedra Kreiger, Martha Gelarden, Becca Jennings and Emma Pouncey.
My prompt was "The sound of bagpipes makes me so emotional." I had a good time performing this, and an even better time in post-production, so hopefully the rest of you will be as amused as I am with the result.
